VA Clinic Relocation
Veterans who receive their Department of Veterans Affairs health care at the O’Neill, Neb., outreach clinic at Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital will have a new clinic location beginning July 30.
The new clinic is at 555 E. St. John Street, O’Neill.
Clinic hours will remain the same: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays, with the clinic being closed from noon to 1 p.m. each day. The clinic phone number will remain the same, at
The clinic is operated by Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital under contract with the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System. Avera has been providing health care for Veterans in the O’Neill area since October 2010.
Although the current VA clinic is co-located at the hospital, the new location will be solely dedicated to serving Veterans.
Veterans who are not currently enrolled in VA health care can stop by an outreach event to apply for benefits July 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Holt County Annex, 128 N. 6th St., O’Neill. Veterans who are not enrolled should bring a copy of their DD Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty, to the outreach event.
Tours of the new clinic will be provided with free transportation from the outreach event from 2 to 4 p.m.
