Memorial Service Helps Remember Babies Lost
The annual memorial service and interment to remember babies lost through miscarriage and stillbirth, a gesture of caring from Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in cooperation with Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Aberdeen’s Riverside Cemetery, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at the cemetery, 1706 W. Melgaard Road. A short program will be led by the Rev. Chris Anderson and Father Shane Stevens. Anyone who has had a loss is encouraged to come and be part of this interfaith service. If you wish, bring a flower to place at the gravesite. A memorial monument and marker have been donated by Aberdeen Knights of Columbus.
Emergency Cardiology Services
When Aberdeen Mayor Mike Levsen experienced shortness of breath and chest discomfort, he went directly to Avera St. Luke's Emergency Department for help.
