Personal Items to Bring (Or Leave at Home)
Please bring no more than three changes of clothing. Other necessary items include slippers, pajamas, shoes and coat. Shoes or slippers are to be worn at all times unless otherwise designated.
Any medication you have with you will be kept in your locker and returned to you at the time of your discharge or sent home with a responsible family member. It is very important that your doctor be informed of medications currently being taken.
We are not responsible for loss of jewelry, money or other personal property kept in your room. You are encouraged to keep no more than $5 in your possession, which can be kept locked in your locker. Large amounts of cash or other valuables will be placed in the hospital safe or sent home with a family member. A receipt for money or articles kept in the hospital safe will be given to you and a copy retained on your chart.
