Scott H. Berry, MD, Tage Elizabeth Born, MD, Gregg W. Carlson, MD, and Christine A. Stehly, MD, are board certified specialists in obstetrics and gynecology. Together, we have more than 60 years of experience. Our practice includes the care of women through their reproductive years and beyond.
Our practice includes general health care, preventative health care concerns such as routine physical examinations, pap smears, prescribing, and evaluation for couples who have difficulty becoming pregnant.
Our specialty deals with all aspects of female reproductive health. This generally includes women from puberty through menopause and beyond. Our goal is to improve and maintain the health of our patients.
Each physician is board certified with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) and has staff privileges at Avera St. Luke's in Aberdeen, SD.

Appointments
Office visits can be scheduled by calling our office at 605-225-1636 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays. If an urgent problem exists, efforts will be made to work patients in that same day. Routinely, however, there is a one- to four-week wait for appointments.
When making appointments, we would like a brief description of the reason for the appointment to help us allow appropriate time for scheduling. We would like a phone number where we can reach you should rescheduling be necessary.
Rescheduling of appointments may be necessary because "the stork" does not consult our office schedule before delivering babies. On occasion, if there are cancellations, we may try to contact you and move your appointment if you are able to do so.
Office Hours
Patients will be seen Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Each doctor reserves one day of the week out of the clinic to perform surgeries and non-clinical duties. Efforts will be made to work within your schedule when possible.
Patients will be followed by their primary physician for most of their care. During pregnancies, we will give you an opportunity to meet with the other physicians in our practice. Our on-call schedule may require that patients be delivered by these physicians. We would like to make you as comfortable as possible with all care givers in our clinic to help make your pregnancy as rewarding as possible.
Telephone Calls
Our physicians may be reached during the day by calling our office at 605-225-1636. Your calls will initially be handled by our nursing staff, who will often be able to help answer your questions. If the nurse is unable to answer your questions the physician will be consulted, and we will get back in touch with you.
If your problem is urgent, attempts to get you into our office or to the hospital will be made so our physicians can see and treat you. After office hours or on weekends, our doctors may be reached by calling the hospital and having our doctors paged. The number to have a doctor paged is 605-622-5000. Please ask the phone receptionist to have your doctor paged.
We are happy to answer any questions you may have, but we prefer that you call during the day to our office, if possible. We will get back with you as soon as possible. Should an urgent situation arise, please feel free to call your physician at any time of the day or night.
