Avera St. Luke's Rehabilitation Center Works on a Team Approach

We Help Patients Progress Toward their Former Activity Level

At our Rehabilitation Center, intensive inpatient physical therapy is provided using a team approach. Physical therapists work as part of the total treatment with specialists such as:

• Audiologists
• Dietitians
• Nurses
• Occupational therapists
• Physicians
• Speech therapists
• Social workers
• Therapeutic recreation specialists  

Generally, patients at the center have a neurological or long-term orthopedic diagnosis, such as stroke, brain injury, amputation, joint replacement or severe injury. The goal is to help patients progress toward their former activity level.

Professionals from our Rehabilitation Center are available to provide home site evaluations and outings to help reintegrate patients to the community.
