Weskota Wellness & Rehab Center – Get in shape for Spring and Summer! Memberships for singles, married couples & families – Special student and senior rates – Sliding fee also offered for memberships - Call 539-1201 for details.   

Yoga – Classes are held Monday through Thursday at Foothills Bible Fellowship. Cost is $3 per session or $30 per 12 sessions. Call Sheri for more information at 539-1063.   

AA  & Al-Anon – Every Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Courthouse

Cancer Support Group – The Wessington Springs Area Cancer Support Group will meet for lunch at the Springs Inn Wednesday May 8 at 12 pm.

Health Care Events

Free Blood Pressure Clinic – Wed., May 1 - Hillcrest Apartments Community Room 9-10 a.m. & Community Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – This free service provided by the Community Health Nurse.

May is Health Care Month: In observance of Hospital and Nursing Home Week, May 12-18, kindergarten through 2nd grade students will visit the hospital and manor.  They will sing for the manor residents and tour the various manor and hospital departments.  Nurses Week will be recognized May 5-11 and Emergency Medical Services Week will be observed May 19-25The Community Health Nurse Office and Jerauld County Community Health Center also offer free blood pressure screenings at their offices.
