Avera Center for Public Policy
The Avera Center for Public Policy coordinates and strengthens the advocacy efforts of Avera affiliates and promotes public policies that benefit the people of our region. Deb Fischer-Clemens, a nurse and former South Dakota state legislator, is the vice president and director of the center.

Avera Rural Health Initiative
The Avera Rural Health Initiative collaborates with community leaders and other agencies to find solutions to challenges that affect rural health care through educational programs, consulting, community health planning, grant writing and more. Avera Rural Health serves all facilities with an Avera affiliation.
Avera PACE is a shareholder of Premier, Inc., one of the largest group purchasing organizations in the U.S. With more than 1,800 national contracts, plus local and regional agreements, Avera PACE and Premier can fulfill the needs of our affiliate members.
Northern Plains Premier Collaborative, LLC (NPPC)
Northern Plains Premier Collaborative (NPPC) is a collaborative between Avera Health, Monument Health and Premier which was formalized in May of 2008. NPPC became a limited liability company on March 31, 2011. The umbrella of NPPC encompasses facilities and affiliates of both health systems and collaborates in partnership with Premier, Inc., as our Group Purchasing Organization.
It is a contracting agent of Avera Health and Monument Health designed to aggregate and leverage collective purchasing volumes to achieve supply chain savings and share best practices to improve the quality of patient care.
