Delicious taste leads the way for this anytime drink that is packed with nutrients that fight cancer-linked free radicals and others that can limit tumor growth. And it's simple enough to whip up as a little afternoon snack with the family.

Berry Mint Smoothie

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain kefir
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Directions

  1. Combine kefir, berries, juice, mint and honey in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. These smoothies keep in the refrigerator for up to one day or in the freezer up to 3 months.
