Berry Mint Smoothie
- 1 cup plain kefir
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 1-2 tablespoons fresh mint
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Combine kefir, berries, juice, mint and honey in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- These smoothies keep in the refrigerator for up to one day or in the freezer up to 3 months.
The powerful antioxidants in strawberries work against free radicals which help fight off cancer.
Strawberries have also been shown to inhibit tumor growth.
