Sick for Three Years - Avera's Research Institute Looks for Answers

To date, COVID-19 has infected more than 103 million Americans. For many of those cases, symptoms were mild and resolved after a week or so. However, there is a group of infected who continue to experience symptoms of the virus long after it has been eradicated by the body. Why is this happening? That’s the question the Avera Research Institute is working to answer with the RECOVER Initiative. A study sponsored by the National Institutes of Health to better understand and prevent Long COVID.
