Recipe: Apple Carrot Salad

Like most other natural foods, apples in their whole form – not juice or applesauce – is the way to go to get the most from this food. Eat them raw or include them in salads.

Apple Carrot Salad

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 3 medium apples, diced
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/8 cup low-fat mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients.
  2. Chill thoroughly.
  3. Serve on salad greens.
