Recipe: Cranberry Spiced Cider

Cranberry Spiced Cider
Serves: 8
Ingredients
- 1-1 ½ oz. package mulling spices (depending on your taste)
- 5 cups 100% apple cider
- 3 cups 100% cranberry juice
- ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 orange, in slices
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let stand for 30 minutes.
- Strain spices and orange slices, then pour into mugs.
Note: Feel free to use individual spices if you have them on hand: 4 whole cloves, 4 whole allspice, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 star anise.
