#TryItTuesday: Give Mom the Gift of Wellness

This Mother’s Day, skip the flowers and chocolates and give your mom something she’ll value for years to come – the gift of wellness. Whether she’s needing to up her self-care, eat healthier or find more time for physical activity, these Mom’s Day gifts will show her you support her goals and want her to live a long and healthy life. (A win-win for you both!)

One of the absolute best gifts I love to receive is time spent with my children and grandchildren. Experiential gifts are a win no matter what the event. Some ideas could include:

  • Botanical gardens or arboretum memberships
  • Camping trips
  • Day of boating
  • Hiking
  • Walking tours
  • Canoeing/kayaking
  • Cooking classes

Between work, family and community involvement, it’s a challenge for many moms to find time for self-care. Here are a few gift ideas to show mom you care:

  • Spa basket to include candles, face masks, jojoba oil, fuzzy socks, bath salts, sleep masks, lotion
  • Essential oils and aroma diffusers
  • Meditation CD/book
  • Books
  • Journal
  • Life coaching sessions
  • Spa gift certificates
  • Gift certificate for a massage
  • Movement classes
  • A gift card to her favorite hobby store

Encourage and support your mom in her physical health with some of these gift ideas:

  • Personal training sessions
  • Punch cards to fitness centers, mind-body exercise or dance studios
  • Gym membership
  • Gift certificates to meal delivery service
  • Healthy cooking appliances such as an Instant Pot, Nutri-bullet, Ninja blender
