What Does a CNA Do?

CNAs are essential in nearly every health care setting, including home health care and long-term care facilities. They typically work directly with patients to ensure their comfort and improve the quality of their stay. Tasks may include:

  • Repositioning patients in bed
  • Recording patients’ health statuses
  • Assisting in health procedures
  • Following nutrition plans and feeding patients
  • Cleaning rooms and bed sheets
