Returning Applicants

We have upgraded to a new platform. If you submitted an application on or before Dec. 21, 2024, and want to check on its status:

  • Please click Create Account at the Sign In to begin a new account.
  • Use the same email address you used for your original application.

If you submitted an application on or after Dec. 22, 2024, log in to your account using the same email address as when you applied.

Log in to your account or create a new account.

Common Questions

Why is my application form not opening?

If the application form is not opening, you may have pop-up blocking software on your computer that is blocking the action. Try to disable your pop-up blocker and see if that helps.

Which browser do you recommend I use to apply?

Please apply using a Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox web browser.

How long before I hear back after my application is submitted?

Typically, you will hear back from Human Resources within 3-5 business days after submitting your application.

Can I check my application status?

Yes. Please sign in to check your application status. If the status hasn’t changed after 5 business days, contact us at 605-504-4444.

How do I reset my password?

Sign in and click “Forgot your password.” You’ll receive an email with a link to reset your password.

How do I add my resume to my application?

Email your new resume as an attachment to talent@avera.org. Include your full name and the job you have applied to.

Is there a limit on the number of jobs I can apply for?

You may have up to 10 active applications at a time for any position(s) that interest you.

Will I need to include an email address to apply?

Yes. You must have an active email account to complete the application. If you do not already have an email address, please create one at the beginning of the application.

How do I copy a previous application to apply for other positions?

  1. Log back into your account with the username and password from your previous application.
  2. From here you’ll see options to use your last application, apply manually, or autofill with a resume.
  3. Choose “Use My Last Application” and the data will pre-fill your new application.
  4. Review and make any changes to your application.

Should I use my legal name in the application?

Yes, please use your legal name. There is a place to indicate your preferred name and other names used in employment or education.

I’m a veteran. Does Avera honor military education and experience?

Yes, Avera supports veterans by honoring military equivalent education and work experience for certain positions.
