Healthy Start Childbirth education is designed to prepare you for labor, birth, transitions to parenthood, baby care skills, and breastfeeding. This series covers information on labor and delivery, comfort measures and breathing techniques, and pain relief options; as well as caring for Mom & new baby after birth, and breastfeeding. A tour is included with the class. Registration for this course is for mom and her support person, this is a free class funded by the Healthy Start grant.
