Participants attending via videoconference should register for the event by Monday, October 24, 2016. On the registration form, select Yes for Will you be attending remotely? Then type in the name of the location you will be participating (ex: Avera St. Luke’s, Avera Sacred Heart, or Avera St. Mary’s). No need to contact the site coordinator as they are planning for your attendance.

Health professionals, educators, community service providers, clergy, law enforcement, consumers and family members.
Physician:
Avera is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing education for physicians. Avera designates this educational activity for a maximum of 5.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Nursing:
Avera Health is an Approved Provider of continuing nursing education by the Alabama State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. A total of 5.0 contact hours can be received upon completion of this education activity. Attendance at the entire educational activity is required to receive contact hours.
Social Worker:
The South Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners has approved this program for 5 contact hours.
Counseling:
The SD Board of Examiners for Counselors & Marriage and Family Therapists has approved this program for 5.0 continuing education hours.
