Registration Details

Registration approval confirmation and login access will be sent via e-mail. Every effort will be made to respond to your request for registration within 48 hours of your registration submission, if received Monday through Friday, between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, excluding major holidays.

Description

This course is intended to prepare the non-nursing volunteer or employed staff person to provide dining assistance in a care facility in South Dakota. This program meets the required Dining Assistance Training Program components, as approved by the South Dakota Department of Health (10 hours total in length, including eight hours of didactic/classroom training, plus two hours of clinical practice in assisting residents while being precepted by a Registered Nurse).
