Ahna Buntrock, MD, has always been inspired by the tenacity and determination of strong women. Combined with her interest in comprehensive women’s health — she found her career calling.

Today, she offers her compassion and expertise in obstetrics and gynecology at Access Health & Avera Medical Group Family Health Center in Mitchell, SD.

When Dr. Buntrock meets her patients, she’s not just interested in what health issue brings them in; she also wants to know who they are and what’s important to them.

Active Lifestyle

When she’s not at work, Dr. Buntrock enjoys spending time with her husband, a local hospitalist. You might find them engaging in outdoor adventures — whether that’s hiking, fishing, camping — anything that gets them into the fresh air.
