In high school, a young Arthur “Skip” Moeller, DO, volunteered with the local ambulance service. Since then, he was hooked on pursuing a medical career. He worked 15 years in the emergency room before choosing his specialty.
Today, he serves as an ear, nose and throat physician, or an otolaryngologist, at Avera Medical Group Ear, Nose & Throat in Yankton, SD.
“My experience allowed me to make an informed decision,” said Dr. Moeller. “I have the opportunity to get to know patients, treat them on an office-based level, as well as perform life-changing surgeries.”

Dr. Moeller serves his patients with expert care. He treats many ear, nose and throat conditions, including:

- Cancers of the ears, nose, throat and minor skin conditions

Dr. Moeller is board-certified in plastic surgery. On more than one occasion, local primary care providers have connected their patients with his expertise for minor skin reconstruction.
“We work together, think innovatively and always put the patient first,” he said.
Active Lifestyle
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Moeller likes to be outside all year round. Some of those outside activities include fishing and coaching hockey.
