About Me

Benjamin Walters, DO, has always been a hands-on kind of guy. Growing up, he gravitated toward fixing things around the house and challenging himself with building projects. This ingrained talent of fixing something that’s broken followed him into his career.

Today, you can trust Dr. Walters for expert orthopedic care at Avera Orthopedics in Sioux Falls, SD.

“When a patient comes in and they’re in pain or have sustained an injury, it’s so rewarding to find a solution for them that can positively impact their life,” said Dr. Walters.

Dr. Walters continues his hands-on ventures by building furniture for his family. Among his creations are a table, coffee tables, and a desk for his wife. He also enjoys spending time with his family, hunting and golfing.
