Dr. Kallemeyn offers specialized care for women – everything from annual well-woman exams and prenatal care to pregnancy and postpartum care.

"Delivering babies is the best part of my job and so much fun," says Dr. Kallemeyn. "Getting up in the middle of the night to deliver babies is still exciting for me."

For women who wish to become pregnant, Dr. Kallemeyn offers this go-to advice: "Start a prenatal vitamin even before you get pregnant. Eat healthy and continue to be active as much as you can be throughout your pregnancy."

Advanced Surgical Technology

Dr. Kallemeyn was one of the first physicians at Avera to receive certification in robotic-assisted surgery for gynecologic surgery. This innovative technology promotes faster recovery, minimal scarring and a quicker return to normal activities.

Active Lifestyle

In her free time, Dr. Kallemeyn enjoys reading, playing the piano and violin, being outside and going to movies.

I love Dr Kallemyn. She is wonderful, caring, attentive & very knowledgeable about complex auto immune diseases. She was the first Dr to know about Crohn's flareups related to menstrual cycles. She knew exactly what to do to stop my Crohn's flareups. I have been a pt of hers for over 10 years & will never change my OB GYN Dr!!

I liked how Dr. Kallemeyn encouraged questions and seemed genuine about addressing even small concerns. She acted unhurried and was gentle and caring in her conversations and exam. She explained each step and talked through the exam which helped me to stay relaxed.
