In college, Christopher Baumbach, MD, enjoyed studying various avenues of science. He wanted to add a personal touch to his interest, which led him to pursue a career in medicine.
Dr. Baumbach serves the whole family and individuals of all ages — babies, children, teens, adults and older adults. He practices as a family medicine at Avera Medical Group Family Health Center – Sioux Falls.

Active Lifestyle
When he’s not at work, he enjoys staying active with his family. Dr. Baumbach is into distance running — completing many half-marathons — as well as golfing and hiking. He’s married and loves raising his children and supporting them in their activities.
