I have been seeing Dr. Petersen for 15+ years when I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. The (personal) care she has provided has been exceptional. She understands and encourages the importance of an active lifestyle and caters the care she provides with this in mind while allowing me to be involved with the treatment plan. In addition to that, there has been very little (or no) nursing turnover. I have seen the same nurse (or a substitute on occasion) during the entire time.

I was just a number in the exam room. Little attempt to connect with me as a person. Not sure if provider reviewed my medical history. Waited several months for initial appointment and will now more months for a follow-up with little ease or explanation for concerns.

I was taken back by a comment made that I didn't even know what she was talking about or what it meant .The bed side manner was very upsetting and doesn't make you feel any better especially when you don't feel good anyway but usually she is a great Dr.

I went back & forth on whether I should be seen for a new incident of back pain and am so happy I came in. My Dr. Took my concerns seriously & very competently recommended some tests to get to the root cause, as much as possible. She also informed me of futures options if the recommended course of treatment didn't work. I also appreciated that suggested moving a followup appointment date up before I leave on a major trip That helped give me peace of mind.
