Leah Johnson, MD, brings many years of primary care experience to the team at Avera Medical Group McGreevy 7th Avenue. As a board-certified family medicine physician, she understands the wide range of conditions and care families need, and she’s well-prepared to provide them.
Dr. Johnson is a Midwest native, with many years of practice in Iowa hospitals and clinics. Her experience in her profession includes a focus on women’s health issues as well as the importance of education as part of care for the whole family. She knows the value of sharing knowledge – she has also served as a professor for medical students over her career.

Active Lifestyle
When she’s not seeing patients in her clinic, Dr. Johnson and her family are often outdoors, in all seasons, taking part in active pastimes such as hiking, bicycling and long walks. She enjoys cooking and reading, but is most often planning the next outdoor travel adventure she and her family will take.
