About Me

Dr. Lyle Biegler joined Avera Aberdeen Family Physicians in September 2007 after finishing his training at the Sioux Falls Family Medicine program in July. There he served as chief resident and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, a national medical honor society. A native of Timber Lake, SD, he graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris and the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Biegler plans on practicing the full scope of family medicine as well as obstetrics. He is licensed to practice medicine in South Dakota and Minnesota. Dr. Biegler and his wife, Megan, have three children.

I have had some very good doctors in the past, but Dr. Biegler is the best. He listens, takes care in evaluating the entire health situation and then makes his well informed decisions. He keeps up with the latest research and recommendations for treatments and is willing and able to explain why he is suggesting a specific course of treatment. He is an exceptional doctor.

Dr. Biegler always does a good job of asking questions, assessing the situation and then providing information. I feel he respect the fact that my general health is also my responsibility and allows me to be a part of the decision. Dr. Biegler is always very thoughtful as to how he can help best manage my symptoms of an underlying health issue. He takes into consideration the recommendations of another physician specialist that is also involved in my care but will assist in making small and appropriate changes/recommendations to make my quality of life as good as it can be. I think Dr Biegler is as good as they get. I appreciate the fact that he is very knowledgeable and capable and also cares about his patients and is always willing to take time to answer questions and explain treatment options.

I've gone to many providers in the past who would never treat my issues. Dr. Biegler listens carefully assesses the information with the data he sees and provides solution. I feel I am almost fully recovered in less than two days after his assessment and healthcare plan. Dr Biegler should also be recognized as a top performing physician
