As a board-certified and fellowship-trained hepatologist, Dr. Qazi provides expert care for liver disease – from medical management of liver disease to liver surgery, including liver transplant.

Dr. Qazi, who was born and raised in northern India, also speaks Hindi and Urdu.

In fact, Dr. Qazi spent her childhood at a Catholic convent which was run by the Presentation Sisters. When she discovered that Avera was founded in part by and is sponsored by the Presentation Sisters, she immediately knew this was where she needed to be.

“The Sisters taught me during the first 15 years of my life,” she recalls. “They put that spirit of service in me and now I’m able to give it back to them. It’s come full circle.”
