About Me

Your feet and ankles are key to your mobility throughout life, whether you’re an athlete or just going to the grocery store. Ryan Prusa, DPM, an expert in foot and ankle care and surgery at Avera Medical Group Specialty Care in Brookings, SD, helps you stay active and keep moving with expert and innovative care.

“I’m a provider with the heart of a teacher, and that a patient’s understanding of their condition is critical for a good outcome,” said Dr. Prusa. “Creating an individualized treatment plan for each patient’s unique problem will help us achieve this goal.”

While an Iowa native, he’s excited to call Brookings home and looks forward to providing the best care possible to the people in this community.

Dr. Prusa is married with four children; his family is the joy of his life. As for personal interests, he likes spending time outdoors, hiking, boating and family games nights.
