As a physician in cardiology, Dr. Waterbury is dedicated to treating patients using the latest technology and techniques in interventionalist care. His specialties include diagnosing and treating heart diseases and vascular diseases, along with congenital and structural heart conditions through catheter-based procedures.

His techniques include:

  • Angioplasty, stenting and blood clot removal from coronary arteries
  • Catheter-guided plaque and calcium removal from arteries and plaque into bloodstream protection to help preserve narrow arteries or bypasses
  • Intravascular coronary imaging
  • Dilation of narrowed cardiac valves and transcatheter replacement
  • Closure of cardiac defects
  • Non-invasive diagnostic testing of artery blockage and valvular disease

Yes, the care that Dr. Waterbury gave to me was excellent. And he was very professional very kind. Very good. I really appreciate him get me through this process because I was really scared. The only thing that I would change is the beds in the guest house. They're really bad. They're really hard and I'm not used to hard bed, and when you have joint problems, it's kind of the pits. But other than that my experience with the doctor and nurses were excellent and they were also kind and nice.I give them all a 10 thank you.

I came to my appointment feeling very anxious and concerned about what was going to happen. Every single person that I dealt with treated me with kindness and respect and just overall paid attention to me in a way that made me feel like they cared about me. It was a great experience. The kindness of people and in the midst of Covid was just amazing. I'm very glad I went and I'm very glad I got this done. Thank you.

Speak before myself. I got I got there at 1:30, and I got out of there 4:30 last one to get there, and I thought everybody was in a hurry to get home,get out of there. So my next appointment is at 9:00 o'clock, I hopefully that people take a Lil more time with me. Thank you.

You are most concerned about the amount of waiting time in the midst of the pandemic in the waiting room that continued to be more and more full. That we did not need that amount of time for registration, and the backup, which is understandable and yet in this time, more of a concern, not to just be waiting outside or where we could be more safe. The only comment that I would have was that I received a phone call back today stating that my husband needed to be put on metoprolol and I actually never did hear how the actual stress test turned out. I will be making a phone call conversation tomorrow to find this information out. I think ... I asked what metoprolol was. She just said, "Beta blocker". Well if I'm not in the medical field, I don't know what a beta blocker is.

Wait time was unusually long due to an emergency with a previous appointment. I'm surprised that with the time between the scheduling and appointment, more records were not received from Piedmont and UT. I'll see what I can do to facilitate.

The only thing I want to say is I waited way too long. So from meeting the doctor to the point where I got my first ultrasound, I believe was over an hour. And from the time from seeing the doc ... the ultrasound, to getting my stress test was another ... over an hour. And then I sat in the ultra ... or the stress test room for 30 minutes, with my shirt off, freezing, before the doctor came. I can't necessarily say that's just the doctor's fault, but it was ice cold in there. Finally, the person who was running the stress test offered a heated blanket to me, which was nice, but it took way too long. I was there from 10 a.m. to almost 4 p.m. to meet with the doctor, get an ultrasound and get a stress test. That seems like way too long to be at the doctor's office, especially when I have a 2 hour trip there and two hour trip home.

I could've asked for a better service and the doctors the nurses they were just excellent. I fed them know waiting that I had to do between the test. So yes, I would recommend them anytime so thank you. Okay.

Check in time was too long. You send out papers to fill out, and everything still needs to go over by nurse etc. I am asked to be there a half hour before appt. and still have to wait.

Yeah, Dr. Waterbury was one of the best doctors I've ever talked to. I mean, he listened to me, and (INAUDIBLE) very thoroughly and stuff. And he had an answer for all my questions. So hey, I give him a ... I give him a solid ten. No doubt about it.

Everything was pretty nice and what I expected, you know, the staff was very polite and I feel comfortable when I know that people treat,treat you with respect and you know, it doesn't matter who you are. I was so pleased with my visit, I came in I was frightened and I from the very beginning I felt so much at ease and so comfortable. All of the staff from the nurses to the technicians did a wonderful job Dr. Thomas Waterbury was kind considerate and he listened to everything I had to say he was very clear ice. I don't have the words to say how pleased I was how relieved I was when I left the hospital and if there is any sort of follow up or I need to come back I'll never hesitate and I know I won't be as afraid as I was that first time.
