Finding Us: This program is located at the Avera Family Support & Visitation Center on South Norton Avenue in Sioux Falls, SD. Free parking is available next to the building.

The Avera Family Wellness program offers therapy services to aid childhood development, coordinating care between school and home to children and their parents. Together, we focus on thoughts, feelings, relationships and behaviors within a family with the goal of addressing negative patterns.

Clinical mental health therapists and physicians see patients at partner schools and in office. We welcome and expect parents to attend appointments. Our dedicated, experienced staff support children and families with understanding, not judgment.

This facility is professionally monitored and has two separate and secure entrances

Family Wellness Services & More

Schools & Partnerships

Our staff works closely with families identified by the Sioux Falls School District as needing early interventional mental health services. Partnerships with Sioux Empire United Way and the Avera Foundation help us provide this program to participating Sioux Falls area schools, including:

  • Cleveland Elementary School
  • Garfield Elementary School
  • Hayward Elementary School
  • Hawthorne Elementary School
  • Lowell Elementary
  • Terry Redlin Elementary School

Cost of Services

Our programs bill insurance for services provided. Financial assistance for services, co-payments and deductibles may be available to families who meet income guidelines.
