Visitors & Patients

If you have a loved one who is hospitalized, we encourage family involvement in the healing process. You are welcome to visit your loved one in person or call the nursing unit and ask to speak to them during hospitalization. Phone calls are not available during meals and group time. If the patient is not available to speak to you, your name and phone number will be provided to them to return the call when they can.

Patients can take part in group programming and activities every day following a schedule. They can also exercise, read, shower, play games and watch television and movies. Able adults staying at the hospital will be responsible for their own laundry and can use our on-site laundry machines. Towels, shampoo, mouthwash and other toiletries are provided to patients. Wheelchair-accessible showers, shower chairs and other accommodations are available upon request.

When a patient leaves after completing their care, they will receive a follow-up phone call to check in and monitor progress. We also provide clinical referrals if a patient needs ongoing outpatient care with a therapist or another mental health professional.
