Visiting Hours & Policies

Surgery Center

Our surgeons and care team perform inpatient surgeries (patients will have a hospital stay after their procedure) as well as outpatient procedures (patients go home the same day as their surgery).

  • This center serves both adult patients and children.
  • Our surgeons’ specialties include general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, podiatry, ophthalmology, dermatology, urology and ENT.
  • Our team of highly skilled physicians, registered nurses and other qualified medical professionals help from prepping through recovery.

It is important to follow staff instructions in preparing for your surgery. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring insurance, medication and supplement information, as well as paperwork provided by your surgeon. This location also offers Avera Lab Direct Access Testing, which lets you quickly and confidentially order a variety of tests without a doctor’s order. These tests help you monitor ongoing risks — such as complete blood count, glucose, lipids or hemoglobin — but shouldn’t be a replacement for the personalized care of your primary care provider.

We offer innovative imaging technology; CT scans and X-rays are available for clinical staff to order around the clock for patients making urgent care or emergency visits. MRI, 3D mammography, ultrasound, DEXA, echocardiograms, mobile nuclear medicine and mobile PET scans are offered by appointment.
