Cutting-edge changes coming to Avera Medical Group Windom
Avera Medical Group Windom will continue to provide state-of-the-art care with the addition of a new clinic that will add space — and physicians — and enhance local health services.
Our new 12,500-square-foot clinic, located on the corner of Hospital Drive and Highway 71, will accommodate current services, including family practice and obstetrics, along with cardiovascular and coordinated care. Avera eCARE® telemedicine specialty services, along with leading-edge X-ray and laboratory services will also be available in the new building.
Our new clinic will allow for expanded outreach specialty services by visiting physicians and providers. It will include on-site 3-D mammography and DEXA scan services that measure bone density. Larger, more space-efficient exam and procedure rooms, along with an atrium and reception area round out the clinic’s enhancements.
The building will be completed in the fall of 2020.
We offer a wide spectrum of primary care for patients of all ages.
Comprehensive health care for men, women, and children from newborn through geriatrics, includes preventive health care, employment exams, well child care, immunizations, newborn care, and minor surgical procedures.
Complete obstetrical care includes OB ultrasounds, prenatal, vaginal or cesarean delivery and postpartum care.
General radiographic exams including digital mammmography.
Full range of services provided by registered laboratory professionals.

Billing & Insurance
It is the patient’s responsibility to provide the business office with accurate insurance policy information. Bring your insurance, Medicaid and/or Medicare card to your appointment. All co-payments and deductibles are due at the time of service. For patients without insurance, payment plans are available. A Patient Payment Information form is available online.
If you receive care for a work-related injury, please notify the receptionist, as we will need to obtain employer information for billing purposes.
