Get text message alerts on your prescriptions from Avera Pharmacy. To join, ask a staff member at this pharmacy to sign you up for text alerts. You’ll then receive notifications about:
- Refill and pick-up reminders
- Problems with insurance and inventory issues
- Credit card problems
- Immunization reminders
Our pharmacy offers immunization options to the public. Please call us if you have questions or would like to schedule an immunization for yourself or a loved one.
Need to pick up your prescription outside of pharmacy hours? Located inside the main hospital lobby, the kiosk dispenses medications for patients signed up for this service. Ask your Avera pharmacist or call 605-224-7334 if you have questions or want to transfer your prescriptions to the kiosk.
After you’re set up, you’ll visit the kiosk, enter your information on screen, and then receive the dispensed medication. Scripts are loaded in the kiosk at 4 PM each day.
Kiosk Location: Lobby of the main hospital. Park in lot A and use entrance A.
To safely throw away unused or expired medications, you can use the blue drop-off MedSafe receptacles available at this Avera Pharmacy location during regular pharmacy hours.
