Inpatient care patients may receive lab draws in their hospital room. If you’re visiting for an appointment, you may be directed to our on-campus labs.
Location: For lab work ordered by your provider, go to the hospital front desk to register, and you’ll be directed to the lower level of hospital for your appointment.
Phone: 605-995-2000
This location also offers Avera Lab Direct Access Testing, which lets you quickly and confidentially order a variety of tests without a doctor’s order. These tests help you monitor ongoing risks — such as complete blood count, glucose, lipids or hemoglobin — but shouldn’t be a replacement for the personalized care of your primary care provider.
Location: Main floor of the hospital. When visiting for an Avera Lab Direct Access Testing appointment, you do not need to register at the front desk.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
We offer innovative imaging technology: MRI, CT scans and X-rays as well as digital and 3D mammography. Clinical staff can order these scans around the clock for patients making scheduled, urgent care or emergency visits. Experts conduct comfortable and quick imaging, so you receive accurate diagnosis which will determine the right treatment for your health.
Location: Main floor via the main hospital entrance
