Memberships are available to those 14 years of age and older. Students ages 10-12 may use the equipment only under parental supervision. Students 13-17 need to have written parental permission.
Membership includes use of all wellness equipment, pool and use of all exercise classes. Full memberships are available for individuals, couples or families. The options available are one month, three months, six months and one year memberships.
Punch cards and daily fees are also available. Call 605-928-4410 for current rates.

The Avera St. Benedict Wellness Center has a 20' x 40', 85-degree indoor pool. The Wellness Center Pool is a great place to bring friends and have birthday parties.
Pool Hours
Monday – Thursday: 6 AM – 7:30 PM
Friday: 6 AM – 6:30 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – 12:30 PM
Swim at your own risk. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent. A pool lift is available for water rehab patients.
Note: The pool shuts down for cleaning 30 minutes before the Wellness Center closes.
Hot Tub
Hot tub is available for clients over the age of 14 years. It is not recommended for pregnant women or people with heart conditions or high blood pressure. The hot tub capacity is four adults.
Water Classes
- Aquatic Water Class: Monday – Thursday: 9 – 10 AM
- Private Swim Lessons: Available upon request.
A variety of community education programs are held each year. The Avera St. Benedict programs have included family issues, women's and men's health issues, heart screening for adults, farm safety for children, diabetic education, nutritional education, arthritis, protect your back, Basic First Aid Training, babysitters clinic and CPR classes.
Cardiac rehabilitation treatment sessions help improve the quality of life for those diagnosed with conditions affecting cardiac health. The care team evaluates and instructs patients on physical activity, nutrition, stress management and medication education, along with meeting other educational needs for patients.
