The hospital was founded in 1947 in an effort to establish permanent health care access in the Wagner area. Doors to the first facility opened four years later in 1951. The current facility opened in 1974, but has undergone extensive renovations over the years to accommodate the newest technology and services for patients.

• Parking for emergency services is located on the south side of the building near the entrance with a red emergency awning. All other patients and visitors may park in the main front parking lot.
• All non-emergency patients and visitors are welcome to enter through the main entrance and check in with reception just inside.
• Most general care areas welcome visitors during the day. Please keep in mind that doors to the facility lock after 5 PM for security purposes.
• We recommend no more than two visitors at a time. Minors and dependent adults must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
