- Visiting hours may differ in the various patient care units. Please check with a nurse on the unit you are visiting.
- Free public Internet access is available on campus.

While you're at Avera Queen of Peace, enjoy a meal or snack:
- Hospital Cafeteria hours are:
6:30 - 9:00 a.m. breakfast
9:00 - 10:00 a.m. coffee break
11:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. lunch
2:00 - 3:00 p.m. coffee break
5:00 - 6:00 p.m. supper
- Vending machines with pop and snacks are available throughout the hospital
Waiting Areas
You'll find waiting rooms near the elevators on each floor. A volunteer surgery host is present in the surgical waiting room during regular surgery hours, Monday through Friday, and will notify family members of patients' progress.
Lodging and Accommodations
When your visit involves an overnight stay, you want to feel secure and comfortable. Mitchell is fortunate to have many options for hotels and lodging.
