Are you looking for purpose? Want to help others? Interested in meeting people? Need to gain new skills? Avera St. Luke’s volunteers serve in the hospital, at blood drives, or even from home by knitting caps for chemotherapy patients, sewing or making crafts to sell that go toward patient programs.

- Read/visit with nursing home residents
- Assist with bingo or ice cream parlor

If you are at least 16 years of age, take the first step by contacting Volunteer Services at 605-622-5514. The Volunteer Office is located in the west lobby (visitors' entrance) of the hospital, and is open from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. weekdays. You’ll fill out an application, and then we’ll meet with you to discuss your interests and availability.
