Avera moved to a new electronic health record with Epic effective May 30, 2026. Starting then, your lab, radiology and pathology test results will be in MyChart. Please note that some information will be verified by our staff closer to your next appointment.

Log In to Avera MyChart

Find Your Test Results in MyChart

Avera MyChart allows you to see test results in an easily understandable format.

1. Go to Test Results in Avera MyChart. (You’ll need to log in first.) Results will appear starting with the most recent.
   • If you’re already logged in and on the MyChart main page, you can select the Test Results tab.
2. View your test results and if they’re in range. For lab results, you’ll see a colored table format. The normal range appears in green. If your results are out of range, it will say they are low or high.

In the Test Results section, you can also:

• Message your provider within MyChart if you need help interpreting results.
• Download or share results.
• Compare previous results and view trends.
• Change preferences on how you would like to see results.

How to Change When You See Test Results

In MyChart, you can adjust your preferences when you want to receive your test results.

1. Go to Test Results in Avera MyChart. (You’ll need to log in first.)
   • If you’re already logged in and on the MyChart main page, you can select the Test Results tab.
2. Choose Settings and filters and then Test result preferences. You can choose to see test results as soon as possible or wait four days for test results to be uploaded. Please note: This does not guarantee your team will have contacted you about results before results are listed.
3. Within Settings and filters, you can also choose to see results from a hospital stay. Just toggle this on or off as Yes or No.
