Dr. Christa Friedrich is the Director of Research Operations at Avera Research Institute, where she oversees daily operations for multiple studies and programs. She also takes time to mentor students and serves on multiple committees.
She has been involved in children’s health research in a variety of capacities for more than 16 years. She is also an instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine.
Scientific Research Expertise
In addition to overseeing research operations, Dr. Friedrich has a strong interest in maternal and child health. She serves on multiple committees for National Institutes of Health-funded research studies conducted within Avera Research Institute. She presents her work at conferences across the country.
