Avera Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Professional Leadership Series

Learn critical leadership skills and network with other community leaders when you take advantage of Avera EAP’s upcoming professional leadership series. Each module includes five, weekly sessions which are led by Avera EAP’s experienced team and held at the Avera Professional Plaza, 2412 South Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls, SD.

Leadership Foundations Module

Wednesdays, Sept. 5 – Oct. 3 from 9 – 11 a.m. CST

Register by Aug. 10 to learn about:

  • Styles of leadership
  • Harassment prevention
  • Leading in a diverse workforce
  • Effective workplace communication
  • Mindful awareness for stress management

Leader Toolkit 1 Module

Wednesdays, Oct. 17 – Nov. 14 from 9 – 11 a.m. CST

Register by Sept. 21 to learn about:

  • Professional assessment
  • Understanding and applying emotional intelligence
  • Keys for effective performance management
  • Coaching for excellence
  • Dealing with difficult people

Emerging Leaders Module

Wednesdays, Nov. 7 – Dec. 12 from 2 – 4 p.m. CST

Register by Oct. 10 to learn about:

  • All-level leadership
  • Servant leadership
  • Dealing with troubled employees
  • Time management techniques
  • Transitioning from peer to “su-peer-ior”

Registration Details

Learn about each of the modules below and register by completing the online form. Registration rates for:

  • Current Avera EAP customers - $550 per employee, per module
  • Non-Avera EAP customers - $650 per employee, per module

Employers are eligible for additional discounts when:

  • Registering 3 or more employees - $50 discount per employee, per module
  • Registering any employee 4 weeks prior to the module’s start date - $50 discount per employee, per module
