Blood and marrow transplants, also known as stem cell transplants, help your body rebuild your immune system. Those in need of this type of cancer treatment are patients with blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma (Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s), multiple myeloma or myelodysplastic syndrome. Patients receive an infusion of healthy stem cells to build up their immune system and fight disease.

Self- and Donor-Matched Options
After chemotherapy and radiation therapy kill cancer cells, transplanting healthy blood and marrow cells helps fight the disease. The two types of transplants offered are:
- Self-donation stem cells (autologous)
- Donor-matched stem cells by genetic type (allogeneic)
Our expert team offers guidance about the value of a transplant depending on your unique situation. If you’re eligible, they’ll help explore transplant options and identify the best ones available for you.
