Retail Pharmacy
Our experienced team of pharmacists collaborate with your Avera provider to answer questions, prevent issues and help you get the best results from your medications.
Some of our retail pharmacies are inside Avera clinics and hospitals. Others are standalone pharmacies. Either way, we offer the same walk-in and mail order services, allowing you to:
- Use Avera MyChart or our automated phone system to have your prescriptions sent to any of our pharmacy locations and refilled.
- Receive text or email alerts for refills, insurance issues, immunization reminders, pickup reminders and more.
- Pick up your prescription before leaving the hospital/clinic or have it shipped to your home for free.
- Benefit from our $4/$10 generic program.
- Purchase over-the-counter medications.
- Choose how you pay for your prescriptions, with options including credit/debit card, personal check, health savings account (HSA), flex spending account (FSA) and cash.
- Dispose of unused medications.
We accept most prescription drug plans and Medicare Part D plans, and you will have the same insurance co-pay as other pharmacies. (Some exclusions may apply.)
