Medication to Enhance Your Care
Choose pharmacy services at Avera and rest assured you’re getting the right medication to improve your condition. Pharmacists on your care team support your treatment and serve as the primary source of information related to pharmaceutical drugs by:
- Checking for allergies to medications
- Determining the safest dose for your age and medical condition
- Researching possible drug incompatibilities when treating multiple illnesses at the same time
- Monitoring laboratory results
- Consulting with you and your doctor on specific medications
- Keeping up-to-date on the latest drugs and therapies
Help ensure medication safety by bringing a list of all prescription and non-prescription drugs—or the actual medications—you or your loved ones take to your medical appointments.
